I bought a new yukata this weekend.
I TOTALLY didn’t mean to do it.
But… it’s so cute… and hand painted. I couldn’t believe how great it looked on me!

The full (lower) back panel. Aren’t the owls adorable?? I love the colors and the tiny purple owl!!
The fabric is also really light and breathes easily, so it is good to wear in summer.
I was also surprised to find that when I was wearing it, it kind of looked like western clothes. It fits very naturally, and doesn’t look as “costume” -like as some yukata do.
Anyway, just thought I’d share, because I like it so much!
